Alan returned, but didn't tell Hope. Mindy told Alan about Phillip's fight and Alan called Phillip in and hassled him. The reporter from finance magazine showed up a day early. Alan sent Trish his to house to make sure Hope wasn't drunk. Vanessa cried on Daddy's shoulder about Billy not loving her. But she hardened her heart when she found out Henry had told Billy about the half million dowry. Billy tried to propose again but Vanessa swore that he won't get his hands on her money. Nola and Quint left for Chicago to talk to Bill Bauer about the picture. Henry tried to call Bill Bauer. Josh is back. He and Billy argued about Jansen Refinery.

Maureen told Justin that Rick knows Justin is Phillip's father. Justin talked to Rick and found out that the information came from Mindy. Maureen told Tony that she's pregnant. Henry reached Bill Bauer and told him to meet Quint & Nola and tell them that everyone in the picture, except him, is dead. Josh found out that someone sabotaged the deal with Jansen, and Henry suggested it might have been Alan. The Finance reporter met Hope at home and was completely charmed. Hope lit into Trish after the reporter left and said to tell Alan, "Thanks" for letting her find out from a reporter that he'd returned, and that she'd return the favor, real soon. The guy Phillip fought with filed assault charges and Phillip was arrested. Will Alan buy Phillip a way out of this? When will Justin tell Phillip? What did Hope mean?

Bill Bauer went to a hotel to get a message from Quint and Nola and saw Annabelle. He was shocked, and left the hotel. Phillip spent the night in jail and called Mindy to get him out. Billy put up bail and tried to give Phillip some advise. Alan's interview with Finance went beautifully and Hope was charming. Amanda looked lovely. Billy brought Phillip over and warned Alan that he knows Alan ruined the Jansen deal and that he's going to pay. Hope overheard Alan tell Trish that he credited he (Trish) with making the interview go well. Floyd and Leslie Ann fought about her never having any time for him. Amanda got a call from Jennifer. It ended with Amanda saying, "Please, Jennifer, calm down. No, Jennifer, please, No!" Will Jennifer return? Will Hope leave Alan? Can Alan keep it out of the papers that Phillip was in jail?

Quint and Nola arrived in Chicago and started playing Nick and Nora Charles. They went to Bill Bauer's and had supper with his landlady even though he wasn't there. He got drunk and called Henry and said he'd seen "her" (Annabelle) and was going to meet her in her room and talk to her. Amanda told Ross that Jennifer wants to come and take Matthew, but only out of spite. Ross promised to help Amanda get legal custody of Matthew. Philip and Justin fought but later each apologized and Phillip admitted to Justin that he loves him. Billy swore to Henry that he won't ever get back together with Vanessa. Tony talked by phone with Annabelle in Chicago and calmed her fears about the man who seemed to be following her. Phillip went to Tony & Co. and joined Rick and Beth, and Mindy found him there. Rick and Mindy argued about Justin. Beth freaked out about the arguing. Will Tony have to go to Chicago to rescue Annabelle?

Bill Bauer died, an apparent suicide with a high alcohol level, from a 21st floor hotel room. Henry suspects that H.B. is somehow involved. Eli was at Great Lakes, near Chicago. Hope separated from Alan. Mike promised to take care of Hope and swore to find out why his father died. Ross asked Amanda to marry him and she accepted. Ed got home from his conference and Maureen told him his dad was dead, but didn't tell him she's pregnant. Alan talked with the guy that Phillip had a fight with. He hired him to replace Bradley Raines and the guy dropped his charges against Phillip. Mike rejected Trish's offer of sympathy and told her to go back to Alan. Alan and Trish talked about the kiss they'd shared. Trish insisted that it wasn't illicit. Annebelle is home from Chicago. Eli decided to be a permanent boarder at Bea's. Bert is taking Bill's death pretty hard.

Maureen told Ed that she's pregnant and he wasn't very happy about it. But all of Maureen's family is thrilled. And Kelly told Ed that he's not too old to be a father again. Alan stopped to tell Hope how sorry he was about her grandfather's death and ended up putting her down and blaming her for their separation, which he willingly accepts. Hope told Bert that the marriage is over. Bert told Quint and Nola that Bill hadn't drunk in over 15 years and also that her picture of Mike and Bill had disappeared. Nola told Quint she's going to get to the bottom of it. Warren talked Leslie Ann into postponing her vacation and talking an assignment on the Patient Advocacy Program. Alan fired Bradley and Bradley went home and yelled at Beth for being in her housecoat, but didn't tell Lillian that he'd been fired. Beth admitted to Lillian that she's in love with Phillip. Henry was glad to hear that Nola has put aside her quest for the people in the picture.

Annabelle saw Bill Bauer's picture in the paper and recognized him as the man who followed her in Chicago. She's afraid she had something to do with his death. Maureen and Ed told Rick about the pregnancy and he was very happy about it. Ross told Amanda that they should get married right away because of the custody case. Alan stopped by Amanda's and admitted that he and Hope are separated, but left when Amanda started pressing him to work things out with Hope. Alan is determined to get Trish. Trish was shocked when Josh told her they have proof that Alan tried to undermine LTA. Josh met Hillary at Tony & Co. and comforted her about her father. He offered to escort her to the funeral. Phillip, Mindy, Rick and Beth got together for a while at Co. Billy went to Vanessa's apartment and Helena told him that Vanessa is in New Mexico and that he should realize that he and Vanessa love each other. Jennifer call. Amanda begged her to listen, but it didn't work.

Nola and Quint are busy moving out of their house. Quint discovered that Henry had the Gazebo moved to the new house. Mike came back from Chicago with another picture of the girl that looks like Annabelle. He went to Co. to see the picture Tom took and to question Annabelle, which really upset her. Bea gave Tony her engagement ring to give to Annabelle. Trish had another fight with Billy and he said that he doesn't want to see her anymore. He doesn't believe that her relationship with Alan is strictly business. Josh, too, gave Trish a hard time. Ross asked Justin to be his best man at his and Amanda's wedding. Tony tried to assure Annabelle, again, that she didn't have anything to do with Bill Bauer's death. Neither Tony or Annabelle told Mike that Annabelle was in Chicago at the time of Bill's death. Ed is convinced that Bill died because he's an alcoholic.

Amanda packed up hers and Matthews stuff and went to live with Jennifer, who had told Amanda that she didn't want a court battle, and wanted Amanda to come with Matthew. Ross wasn't able to talk her out of it. Nola and Quint moved into the new house and Nola was thrilled about the Gazebo. She & Quint & Henry had a good first night in their new home. Bradley overheard Mindy & Rick Talking about Phillip being Justin's son. Mike found out that Annabelle was in Chicago at the time of Bill's death. Annabelle can't shake her feeling of being involved, so Tony decided to get rid of the picture. Henry talked to HB who already knew about Bill's death. Helena counseled Justin to stay off Phillip's back about Mindy. How long with Amanda stay gone? How will Bradley use what he knows? What will Mike find out about his dad's death? Tune in Monday.

Ross told Justin that Amanda has left and it's over between him and her. Hope told Alan that Amanda has gone to live with Jennifer. Then Hope and Alan told Phillip that Amanda has gone and about their separation. It got Phillip real upset. Tony questioned Ed about whether Annabelle could've done anything drastic while being blacked out. Ed didn't like it that Mike's suspicions had upset Annabelle. Mike questioned Annabelle and she admitted she'd been in Chicago and had seen his father and she agreed to talk to the DA. Alan invited Trish to dinner but she said she wants to keep her job and she wants their relationship to be strictly business. Hillary realized that Leslie Ann is still involved with Warren. He was startled to hear that Bert will be at the conference where he's taking Leslie Ann. Alan received a taped message from Bradley about knowing about Phillip. Amanda better not stay gone.

Annabelle talked to Ross about being in Chicago. Also told him that Tony has torn up the picture of the fishing trip because it bothered her. Ross doesn't think she had anything to do with Bill's death, but Mike isn't convinced. Alan played the blackmail tape for Justin and agreed to tell Phillip the truth, but until they find out who sent the tape. Bradley brought home a new tape recorder and told Lillian and Beth that he'd gotten a promotion. Bradley was pawing at Beth and then caught her on the phone asking Rick to come right over. Henry was shocked to hear that someone had erased Bill's face on the fishing picture. Nola figured out that whoever killed Bill also erased the picture, and must be in Springfield. Justin had a talk with Mindy and she swore she hadn't told anyone but Rick about Justin being Phillip's real father. Trish gave Mindy hell for telling Billy about the gold bracelet.

Annabelle had a nightmare that she had pushed Bill Bauer out the window and she believed it and thought she was crazy. Tony had a hard time convincing her that she isn't capable of doing that. Vanessa got back. She claims to have turned over a new leaf and she told Henry that she's broke. She's obviously still in love with Billy. And Mindy could see that Billy is different than he's ever been "because of Vanessa". Kelly and Claire clashed again, about a patient's treatment. Beth, Rick, Mindy and Phillip met at Co. Beth behaved real weird and everyone noticed something was wrong. But she wouldn't talk about it. Phillip and Rick are planning a surprise birthday party for Mindy. Phillip was real impressed to discover that Mindy is an accomplished piano player. Henry invited Billy to the housewarming party but didn't tell him that Vanessa is back and will be there. Maureen wishes Ed would be happy about the baby.

Clarence Bailey offered Trish a job a Ross's campaign director and she accepted, believing it means that Alan wanted to be rid of her because she's refused him. She met with Ross and they agreed that they may as well go for it, beings they don't care anymore. Quint convinced Vanessa that Henry has missed her and needs cheering up. Nola tried to talk to Maureen about Bill's death, but Mo got pushy about letting it drop. Mike told Billy & Josh that he's been authorized to sell Amanda's shares in LTA. They don't have the money to buy her out. Vanessa is subdued & depressed & still in love with Billy. Hillary talked with Leslie Ann and Leslie Ann agreed that Warren isn't worth Floyd's little finger, but admitted that she can't help herself. Hillary offered to still be friends. Kelly saved the situation with Claire's new patient and maybe made Claire realize it. Amanda better not be gone.

Ed has decided that he's happy about the baby. Nola & Quint's housewarming party started with Billy arriving (at Henry's invite) an hour early and Henry left Billy & Vanessa together. They were uneasy with each other, but civil. Justin & Helena attended and Helena told Henry he better move quickly if he wants Bea, who attended with Eli. When Rick arrived to pick up Beth, Bradley insisted that Rich get Phillip & Mindy and be his guests for the evening. They played monopoly and Bradley goaded Phillip about a Spaulding losing to a lowly security man. Annabelle found a dress exactly like the girl in the picture. She told her dad and Tony that she's ready to be healthy now. Henry received a special delivery letter and inside was a picture of the girl (like Bill's) & written on the back was "Tonight you die". Just then Tony arrived with Annabelle and Henry appeared to have a heart attack. Jane delivered a letter to Lola, from Amanda. She'll probably be Stacy's nurse now.

(from only 15 min. of show) Henry had a heart attack and Vanessa freaked out & had to be restrained by Billy. Justin & Ed worked on him & had to give him an injection, but got him breathing again. They rushed him to Cedars and he's in cardiac intensive care. Beth told Rick how tough things were for her & her mom before her mom married Bradley, but she still wouldn't tell him what Bradley's really like. Phillip & Mindy hung out at Co. and had a long talk. She's got their whole future planned. Bea, Eli, Tony & Annabelle waited at the boarding house for news about Henry. Eli offered to fix a small problem at Co. and discovered that the fishing picture had been put back up and another face was rubbed out. Annabelle seemed to study herself in the mirror after Henry's heart attack. Henry dropped the crumpled photo with the message on the back.

Henry remained critical, but stable. Vanessa & Quint got to see him, one at a time. Henry communicated to Vanessa to give him a pencil & paper and he scribbled HB. Bea came back to the hospital & she & Vanessa had a fight, with Bea shouting, "Shut up!" to Vanessa. Bea gave Quint her mother's cross to give to Henry. Tony didn't tell Annabelle about the vandalism to the picture. He asked Eli if he had any ideas who could've had another copy of the picture. Alan went to Cedar's & talked to Justin about the note in his office. He also saw Hope, but Trish showed up and it all turned ugly, with Billy delivering the most insults. Trish & Ross got together to work on the campaign. They both admitted that they're ambitious. Phillip & Rick talked about Bradley, and Phillip said he has a real bad feeling about him. Alan tried to convince Phillip that he's just like him. Hope was at Cedars for a meeting with Warren Andrews. She told Alan that she has a life of her own now.

Phillip invited Bradley to the surprise party for Mindy. Annabelle told Tony that she'd passed out on the couch the night before (when the picture was found). Hope went to the country club with Warren and proceeded to get smashed. Meanwhile Alan goes to see Trish and confides in her about Phillip and gets her into bed. Meanwhile Hope has decided that she wants a divorce and goes to Trish's apartment and tells Trish to tell Alan for her that "she's found someone better." Ed & Maureen were at the country club celebrating the baby and saw Hope and worried about her. Phillip had to say that Bradley was there as his guest to keep Bradley from getting thrown out and Beth fired. HB snuck into Henry's room and asked Henry what was going on. Henry kept saying, "I saw her", and a nurse came in and chased HB out. Henry just kept saying, "I saw her".

HB showed up at LTA, pretending that he just got there and that he didn't know about Henry. Josh was upset & worried that HB will end up running LTA. Mindy told Billy, HB & Josh that she knows about the birthday party but promised to act surprised for Phillip. Bert had a meeting with Warren and didn't put up with him or his nonsense. Then Ed barged into his office & gave him hell about taking advantage of Hope, while she's so vulnerable. Warren took it out on Leslie Ann & demanded that she meet him tonight. Nola worried that she doesn't belong in Henry's house, but Bea convinced her that whatever's bothering Henry, it doesn't have to do with Nola. Nola figured out that Henry saw Annabelle in the mirror and that's what gave him the heart attack. Quint got real angry and yelled at her about playing games, but she said she can't give up trying to find out. Nola hired Jane (who worked for Amanda) as Stacy's baby nurse. Hope had lunch with Mike, who worried about her.

Nola talked to Tony about her theories about Annabelle & Henry & the picture. They agreed to collaborate without telling Annabelle or Quint. Vanessa talked to Quint about nobody liking her, she apologized to Nola & she asked Nola what would change her mind about liking her. Nola promised to think about it. Alan got a blackmail note asking for $10,000. and told Justin about it. Alan agreed to tell Phillip the truth ... tomorrow morning. He even arranged a meeting to have a serious talk. Bradley & Lillian attended Mindy's birthday party and when Alan saw them he brought up the subject of letting Bradley go, in front of everyone. Bradley started drinking. Phillip & Beth got together at the stables & Phillip told her that he's in love with her, but because it isn't right, he doesn't want to see her anymore. Bradley caught them and insulted Beth, and Phillip yelled. Bradley taunted him that he isn't a Spaulding, that he's Justin Marler's son.

Phillip burst in just as everyone was singing "Happy Birthday" to Mindy and demanded that Alan & Justin tell him, "it isn't true". They admitted to the truth and Phillip tossed things around for a while. He was stunned to learn that Jackie was his mother and freaked out at Justin for allowing him to miss his own mother's funeral. Beth got into a fight with her mother about letting Bradley walk all over them. And she told Bradley what she thinks of him. He told her never to talk that way in his house. Nola talked Quint into agreeing to her investigation and allowing her to question Henry. HB told Billy that he knows Billy's broke. He's agreed to loan LTA the money to buy out Amanda, but only if Josh asks. Justin tried to explain to Phillip why they'd never told him. Alan wanted to find out just who told Phillip. Phillip was even more hurt to learn that several other people already knew. And he doesn't yet know the full extent of it.

Phillip arrived home at 9:00 AM and told Justin he was moving out and that he'd never forgive him for cheating him out of his chance to say good-bye to Jackie. Justin had to leave his talk with Phillip to rush Samantha to the hospital with a repository problem. Nola overheard HB talking to Henry about their "secret" . She got Henry to admit that he was in the picture & that he knew her dad. She told him it was Annabelle he saw when he had his heart attack and Henry made her promise to bring Annabelle to see him., but not to tell anyone else. Tony & Annabelle set their wedding for Mar. 1. Josh refused to ask HB for the money LTA needs. He said he'd rather see the co. go under, which Billy didn't like to hear. Hillary mentioned to Nola that HB had tried to see Henry a few days earlier. Warren cut a bunch of Ed's budget and Ed got real hot about it. He doesn't intend to let Warren get the best of the Bauers.

Phillip went to the hospital to see Samantha. She was sleeping, but he sat and told her that she's his baby sister and he loves her a lot. He gave her his teddy-bear. Then Phillip saw Rick and discovered that Rick already knew about Justin being Phillip's father. In his hurt & anger he blurted out that he loves Beth & she loves him. Then he punched Rick and tried to get him to fight. Billy went to see Trish and apologized for the way he's been treating her and then asked her to talk Josh into asking HB for the money. Alan came by to see Trish. He gave her earrings to match the bracelet, and a key to the executive suite. She didn't turn him down. Bradley went to Cedars and talked to Justin and found out that Phillip found out from an anonymous letter. He wants to know why Phillip covered for him. Phillip saw Justin with his face covered, but didn't speak.

Phillip went to see Hope and she asked him to stay while she called Alan. He left while she was on the phone. When Alan arrived he yelled at her for not keeping Phillip there. She offered to help him make things better with Phillip, but he told her to stay out of it, and he returned his house key & said he wouldn't be disturbing her. Trish asked HB to come by & she tried to convince him to load Josh & Billy the money they need. He insulted Josh & Trish. Nola asked Annabelle to go see Henry, and explained that Henry was in the picture & he'd asked to see Annabelle. She got upset & ran out. Then Nola & Tony had a big fight. Tony presented the idea to Eli, who agreed that Annabelle should do it, if it will give her some peace of mind. Annabelle came back in and said she'd decided to do it. Meanwhile, Henry's developed a problem (after a visit from HB) and had his visitors restricted. Claire talked Ed into reading a new article on micro-surgery.

Phillip went to see Beth. He told her what he'd found out & that he was gonna leave Springfield. After he left, Beth called Mindy & told her Phillip would want to say good-bye to Boss. Mindy went to the stables and told Phillip that she's going with him. He told her no & he told her not to love him. Ed told Maureen that he's gonna find out about have the micro-surgery. HB went to see Josh & they ended up almost at blows. Josh refused to ask HB for the money. Eli talked to Bert & agreed to do some volunteer work for the patient-advocacy program. Annabelle went to see Henry. She passes out & somehow his apparatus has come unplugged and he drops the buzzer. HB was in the hospital at the same time. Hillary went to see Josh and told him she's proud of him for not crawling for his dad. Is Henry okay? What really happened? Tune in Mon.

Annabelle came to on the floor of Henry's hospital room, while he was still struggling with the respirator hose. She rang for a nurse & tried to help him. HB walked in just as she was holding the hose. Claire gave them all the 3rd degree & HB tried to make Annabelle look guilty. He found the picture Henry had & pocketed it. Annabelle admitted to Eli that she'd had a blackout. Hillary got in trouble with Claire because she hadn't seen Annabelle go by. Claire got in trouble with Warren. She even cried in front of Kelly. Phillip & Mindy made love at the stables & then discussed taking off. Rick went to Beth's to find out where Phillip is. Bradley came home & kicked him out & then Bradley hit Beth around. Rick went to the stables and told Phillip that Samantha had had another attack & that Justin was so upset about Phillip that he was afraid to see Sam. Phillip took off right away. Mindy begged Rick not to tell Phillip that she'd already known about his real father being Justin.

Phillip spent the night in Samantha's room, but he refused to talk to Justin. Mindy called Alan & told him Phillip was at Cedars. Phillip also refused to talk to Alan. And he refused to talk to Rick. Nola figured out that the other man in the picture is trying to get rid of the rest of them. She's also suspicious of HB. Billy mentioned to Josh that HB is in the fishing picture. Claire talked to Ed about the incident in Henry's room & about Warren Andrews. Then Ed talked to Warren and warned him, again, to lay off his residents. Eli told Tony about Annabelle's blackout at Cedars & Tony told Eli about her blackout in Chicago. Claire questioned Annabelle about what happened and said she thought the respirator may have been unplugged deliberately. Annabelle fears that she'll be blamed. After Annabelle talked with Claire she dropped & broke a coffee cup and then broke down crying. Eli saw her and tried to tell her that everything's going to be alright.

HB went to see Annabelle, but Tony intervened and refused to get Annabelle & told HB to leave. Tony talked Annabelle into agreeing to see a shrink, even though her father has always been against psychiatrists. Rick & Phillip had a long talk and worked things out, but Phillip still says he & Mindy are leaving. However, Mindy doesn't plan on going. She begged Beth to talk Phillip into staying. Billy went to Cedars to see Vanessa & got her to rest at his place for a while. Floyd & Leslie Ann had another fight. Ed & Maureen talked about the baby & how happy they are. Phillip admitted to Rick that he really is in love with Beth. Mindy caught on to the fact that Beth is in love with Phillip. Beth was just freaked out about being late getting home & how Bradley might react. Mindy burst in on Billy & Vanessa, as a result of which Billy told Mindy that she & him are both selfish & should start thinking about others.

Bert had a long talk with Phillip about his anger, but didn't convince him to stay. Alan tried to talk to Phillip & he told him that Mindy had known the truth. HB went all over trying to find Annabelle, who was off on a picnic with Tony. Quinten asked Ross to investigate the "accident" in Henry's room. Ross was interested in the connection to Annabelle. Trish turned down a dinner invitation with Ross, but accepted one with Alan. Nola figured out that HB must be the other man in the picture, but Quint doesn't think they should mention that to Ross, without proof. Nola & Lola decided that Annabelle shouldn't know that HB wants to find her, but they agreed to tell Tony. Trish & Ross worked on mapping out his campaign and he said he wants to become ever more politically powerful. Trish is gonna get him high level endorsements. He wondered why Alan ever let Trish go.

Phillip told Mindy that it's all over between them. And she made a big scene in front of many nurses. Hillary told her to shut up & Rick carried her, screaming, away. Annabelle went to see a psychiatrist & told her everything, even her dream about killing Bill Bauer. Phillip went to see Beth & begged her to leave with him, but she wouldn't. He went to catch the bus but decided at the last moment that he couldn't leave Beth. Ross & Ed talked about investigating Henry's accident. Later, Ed & Warren had words about Warren not doing his job. Ed told Bert that he's decided to have the micro-surgery. Mostly for the baby's sake. Lillian had to borrow $20.00 for Beth to buy groceries. Beth tried to tell her mother that they didn't have to put up with Bradley, but Lillian defended him. Phillip & Beth declared their love for each other. Mindy vowed to get Phillip back.

Maureen had cramps & started bleeding. Ed came home & they took her to Cedars and she's very frightened that she's losing the baby. Annabelle was weird after seeing the psychiatrist & she & Tony had a big fight. Tony can't stand hearing Annabelle say she's crazy. Annabelle fell asleep & then Nola showed up to talk to Tony about HB hunting for Annabelle and her suspicions that HB wants to harm Annabelle. Annabelle overheard & when Tony & Nola left the room she called HB's hotel to see if he was there. And lied to Tony about her reason for being on the phone. Quint went to see HB & pretended that Henry had told him all about the fishing trip. Quint told HB not to try to see Henry again. Rick & Mindy saw Phillip & Beth kissing. Rick got Mindy away without being seen. Beth & Phillip agreed to keep seeing each other. Beth went to tell Rick.

Maureen lost the baby. It was very sad seeing her cry. She's the nicest wife Ed has had. Beth talked to Rick. He was very hurt & felt it would be best not to see each other at all for a while. Mindy plotted to get Phillip back & called him at Beth's & got him to agree to meet with her tomorrow. Annabelle was sleeping, with Tony watching her & she awoke screaming from a nightmare. Eli rushed in & tried to get Tony to leave & then to get Annabelle not to talk about her dream. In it she's a child, in a body of water, playing, & then keeps getting more & more scared. Eli & Annabelle both say that she's never been swimming. HB saw Trish & told her where all the cash is stashed, in case he dies. Phillip talked to Bradley & told him that he loves Beth & doesn't plan to tell her that it was Bradley who told him about his father. In front of Beth, Bradley was very nice to Phillip. Josh & Billy had a good talk, without hostility. Annabelle told Tony that she won't see him tomorrow.

Phillip went to Mindy's & she told him that they hadn't made love prom night, thinking her admission would win him back. He had to tell her that he's in love with Beth. Josh went to see HB & they ended up fighting & Josh punched him & cut his lip open. HB told Josh to leave. Afterward, Annabelle shows up, screams, & passes out. Then Tony shows up at HB's & finds Annabelle & a lot of blood, but no HB. He hustles Annabelle out of there & calls the police. Because Ross has an investigation going on HB, he gets told that there's a bunch of blood at HB's, right in front of Trish. They rush to the scene & Trish realizes that HB's suitcase of money is missing. Eli talked to Annabelle about what happened at HB's, & thought, "It just isn't fair". Alan went to the stables to try again with Phillip, which didn't really work. Billy & Trish & Josh wondered why the DA is interested in HB. Tony found the picture HB had taken from Henry's room, right next to Annabelle, on the floor.

Maureen came home & both Bea & Nola came to see her. She's real depressed & upset about losing the baby & still feels guilty. Ross found HB's briefcase under Josh's desk. It was full of money. The amount they need to buy out Amanda. Billy took charge of the briefcase & then went to see Mike to pay for Amanda's shares. Tony convinced Annabelle to move out of Bert's. Ross came by "unofficially" to talk about HB's disappearance. Annabelle admitted having been there, that HB had jumped out at her, with blood on his face & she fainted. Tony admitted to her that he thinks someone is after everyone in the picture & that he thinks she's in danger. Justin told Ed that Samantha's doctors think she should be moved to a better climate. But he's reluctant to leave Phillip. Bea told Maureen that she'd miscarried her 1st baby, and still lights candles for all "8" of her children.

Mike stopped by to see Hope & suggested that she start divorce proceedings. Alan came by to see Alan Michael, but Hope had just gotten him to sleep. She suggested that Alan call first in the future and she told him she was filing for divorce. He said it was best. Phillip moved his stuff to the stables but the club manager told him he couldn't stay there. Alan found out & convinced the manager to change his mind. Phillip will even get a raise for being "night security". Tony stopped by to see Maureen & held her while she cried. Trish argued with Josh & Billy about HB's disappearance. And she told Ross about Billy using the money to buy out Amanda. Ross realized that one more tie to Amanda has been severed. Justin went to the stables & told Phillip that he's thinking of moving, with Samantha, to Arizona. Phillip understood, but is real confused about his own feelings. Bradley refused to go job hunting.

Billy charmed Vanessa into making up & they admitted how much they'd missed each other. Then Billy "forbid" Vanessa to work for Alan Spaulding & ridiculed the idea of Vanessa having a career. She said she's been offered the exec. v.p. job. When Billy told Trish about it, Trish got furious 'cause that's the job Alan offered her. Annabelle had another session with her psychiatrist & agreed to by hypnotized. Leslie Ann's tryst in Chicago with Warren got interrupted by a visit from Katie. Katie's coming back to Cedars soon. Justin told Helena that he's moving to Arizona. Helena decided to move out there first. Josh, Trish & Billy keep trying to find HB, but no one has heard from him. Phillip let Beth read his journal & she told him he should be a writer. She may have even talked him into going to college. Nola took Stacy with her to see Maureen, which wasn't a good idea. Maureen is still suffering.

Phillip went to say good-bye to Justin. Justin called Phillip "son" & Phillip called Justin "dad". Very dramatic. Quint & Vanessa went to see Alan & he agreed to give Vanessa the job. The deal Quint made with Vanessa for supporting her was that she has to be nice to Nola. It wasn't easy, but she did start being nice & really freaked Nola out & made her paranoid. Annabelle worked college registration. Rick & Beth & Mindy & Phillip all signed up for her freshman honor's English course. Alan told Trish about giving Vanessa the job & gloated about how he'd force her out when Trish is finished with Ross's campaign. It made Trish a little sick. She talked to Billy later & ended up telling him he's even worse than Alan. Nola's planning a dinner party for all her friends. And Vanessa's gonna help her. Vanessa is very! excited about working at Spaulding. And it really! upsets Billy.

Vanessa was very pleases that Henry's getting out of the hospital tomorrow. Henry was very pleases that Vanessa got the exec.v.p. job at Spaulding. Billy is fuming about it & wants to get his revenge against Alan. Phillip, Beth, Rick, & Mindy are all in Annabelle's class. There was a lot of talk about Fitzgerald & Tolstoy and it was all over Mindy's head. Rick ignored Phillip & Beth. Vanessa went to see Billy to gloat about her job. She got a little deflated when she met Josh & Billy's new knock-out secretary. Tony keeps staying close by Annabelle. Someone seems to be following her, but now every time she feels she's being watched, she thinks it's Tony. Phillip felt real bad about his estrangement from Rick. But he told Beth that he'll have to live with it 'cause he can't give her up. Bradley & Lillian squabbled. Josh continued to worry about HB. Vanessa is gonna hire a handsome male secretary.

Vanessa hired a young surfer type pretty-boy for her secretary. Leslie Ann barged into Warren's office & found Hope there. Hope left & Leslie Ann told Warren that it's over. Later she told Hillary that she really loves Warren. Katy talked to Warren about the job the previous administration had promised. Warren told her that things have changed and there aren't any openings. Ed promised Katy that he'll make Warren give her a job. Maureen went back to work, but she's still real upset. Alan & Vanessa had lunch at the country club, as did Billy & a very rich older lady, who Billy was courting for backing. Hope & Warren also lunched at the country club. Alan & Vanessa tried to pretend it didn't bother then to see Billy & Hope. Hope really laid it on thick about how good Warren makes her feel. They're headed for an affair. Lillian had to admit to Hillary that she can't chip in on a wedding present for one of the nurses.

Bert tried to talk to Hope about her drinking, but it just made Hope angry. Hope was busy getting ready for her date with Warren. Alan summoned Warren to his office & warned him to stop seeing Hope. Alan got a call from "the president" and was offered a seat on some commission. Vanessa had lunch with the rich lady & Billy came by her office later to warn her to keep away from his "stake". Billy met Lance. Bradley & Lillian fought & he broke the TV, shoved her down & left. Phillip & Beth ran into Rick & Mindy several times. Mindy has started hanging all over Rick. Phillip started bugging Beth about moving out of her house & into a dorm. Beth agreed to talk to mother about it, but faced hostility when she got home. Claire got a call from her brother & then told Kelly about him being paralyzed from a motorcycle accident. Kelly kissed her. They may be gonna start being more than just roommates.

Henry came home from the hospital & everyone celebrated. Later, Quint asked Nola if she's keeping a secret from him. Annabelle went to she her psychiatrist & was hypnotized. She recalled being in Bill Bauer's room, but wasn't able to talk about it, so when she was brought out, she was told not to remember. Katy went to Co. & saw Tony & told him about her problems. She & Tony had a real nice visit & when Annabelle walked in & saw them laughing, she decided to start making Tony's life happier. Warren showed up for his dinner date with Hope & told her that he's not interested in her & they shouldn't see each other anymore, & he left. Hope was crushed. Lillian talked Beth into staying there & even spending more time at home. She made Beth feel pretty guilty. Bradley came back and apologized for his behavior. Leslie Ann was at Co. but she was real distant.

Quint tried to find out what's bothering Nola & they ended up in a fight. Nola finally figured out that she's pregnant. Quinten is thrilled. Warren went to see Leslie Ann & told her that he'd stopped seeing Hope because of her. He told her to dump Floyd. Alan arranged for Vanessa to run Spaulding while he goes to Washington for a month, & also arranged that she's set up to fail. Alan went to tell Hope that he's leaving town for a while. In front of Mike he commented on her hangover and questioned her ability to care for Alan Michael. Beth went to Phillip's & told him that she isn't gonna move out of the house. Phillip made her tell him about Bradley wrecking the TV. Phillip went to Alan's office, at Alan's request. Alan told him about leaving, & tried again to convince Phillip that he loves him. Phillip couldn't respond & had to leave. Vanessa is rather stymied at trying to run Spaulding. Billy arrived during a crisis with the computer.

Maureen told Ed that she wants to quit working at the hospital. She didn't think he understood, but he did agree to it. Nola saw Dr. Sedgwick & there's 90% probability that she's pregnant. She talked to Ed about how best to tell Maureen. Quinten fired Henry's nurse after determining that she's refused to deviate from her rules, regulations & schedules. Mindy & Beth were both nominated as Homecoming Queen. Mindy's making a play for the star quarterback. But she's going to the Homecoming dance with Rick. Beth had more problems with Bradley. Phillip talked with Bradley for a while & found out that he's being blamed for Bradley losing his job at Spaulding. It was suggested that Ed hire Katy to replace Maureen. Phillip promised Beth that he'd find some place for her to draw, after she told him that Bradley has forbidden her to bring drawing materials in to the house. Phillip knows Bradley is sick.

Phillip went to see Ed and asked him to try to find a job for Bradley on Cedar's security force. Ed did and told Lillian about it, without mentioning Phillip. When Lillian told Bradley about it he was furious, thinking she'd begged Ed for him. He finally agreed to try the job. Claire accepted a date with Ross & agreed to campaign for him there at the hospital. Claire and Kelly harangued Ed about back into surgery, telling him that he owes it to the hospital and to the students. Vanessa realized that something strange is going on at Spaulding. For one thing, Alan's secretary, Virginia, has gotten bitchy and bossy. So Vanessa is having Lance stay with Virginia and keep an eye on her. Both Billy and Vanessa got conned into going to an auction of antique tea-balls. Neither knows the other is gonna be there. Ed won another bout with Warren and is trying to get Warren fired.

Ross went to see Phillip & told him that they are family, family is important & he was to start being a close uncle. Phillip was hostile at first but ended up offering to help Ross with his campaign. Mindy bugged Rick to find out what everyone like about Beth. She couldn't understand the concept of selflessness. Annabelle had a session with her therapist and, under hypnosis, recalled being afraid of water and having a bad experience with a boat. Her therapist's office was later broken into and only Annabelle's files were destroyed. Ross is investigating. Things just keep getting worse between Floyd and Leslie Ann but she hasn't said that she wants to end it. Phillip gave Beth a complete set of materials for drawing and insisted that she do her art work at his place. He told her that he intends to marry her. She was stunned, but thrilled. He's willing to wait and do the whole thing right. They're in Love.

Ross told Tony about the break-in at Annabelle's therapist's office. Ross believes that Annabelle in innocent, but in danger. They agreed not to tell Annabelle about the break-in. Hope is drinking all the time. Emily called Mike last night & Bert today. Now Hope thinks Emily is her enemy. Nola told Maureen that she's pregnant. Maureen was real happy for her, and she realized that everyone had been tip-toeing around her, afraid of upsetting her. Vanessa called Quint to come to Spaulding and help her figure out the computer. Then she accidentally hit the password for the information she needed. She realizes that Alan has set her up to fair and she intends to disappoint him. Eli freaked when Annabelle told him she was being hypnotized and remembering things from her past. He tried to talk her out of pursuing the therapy. Henry's household has been getting phone calls with the other party silent.

Maureen and Ed got back on the right track. They're close again and planning to try again to have a baby. And Ed's going to try to be a surgeon again. Nola and Quint went to Co. to make their announcement about the baby. While they were there, Jane called from home and said she thought someone was in the house. Quint told her to call the police and he'd be right home. The line was dead when she tried to call the police. Beth and Phillip spent a couple of hours at Phillip;s, as Beth had lied to Lillian about her plans. Mindy overheard Lillian tell Bradley that Beth was at the library, and she deliberately made Bradley suspicious. Bradley caught Beth sneaking in the bedroom window. Claire went out with Ross and they had dinner with Ed and Maureen and the had a great time. Quint decided to check the house and Jane went to check on Henry. Jane heard a noise and went back and saw HB and screamed. HB had knocked out Quint. Kelly and Claire fought about her campaigning at Cedars. Actually, he's jealous.

Bradley caught Beth sneaking in her bedroom window and insisted that she have a doctor's examination to test if she's still a virgin. He threatened to have Phillip arrested for statutory rape. Jane summoned the police on her CB. Nola came home unexpectedly and was surprised to be facing a gun. Vanessa came home unexpectedly and the police thought she was the prowler. Ross showed up to investigate and Nola kept insisting that it had to be HB. She admitted to Tony all her theories. Ed & Maureen had a real pleasant evening with Ross and Claire. And were close again. Then they had a good talk with Rick. Ed told them he's made arrangements to be scheduled for lazar surgery. Mindy got a job at the hospital as a candy-stripper. She went to see Phillip to convince him to still be friends with her. Claire was upset about Hillary inviting Kelly.

Bradley coerced Beth into an exam and found out that she is still a virgin, but vowed to himself to keep her away from Phillip. She was freaked out and swore she'd never forgive him. Phillip picked Alan Michael up from school and couldn't get a response at Hope's 'cause she was drunk. So he took him to the stables with him. He left a note, but it got blown away. When Hope work up she tried to find Emily and then realized she'd given Emily the day off. She panicked. Maureen came over and tried to calm her and get the situation under control. Vanessa had a new crisis at the office. Quinten agreed to teach her how to use the computer if she promises to be nice to Bea. Vanessa hated it, but agreed. Mindy messed us working in the gift shop, so they transferred her to the children's ward. Annabelle had a long session and remembered being in Bill Bauer's room. Her therapist is asking about the lake.

Hope kept getting more and more freaked out about not being able to find Alan Michael. Bert and Mike both showed up, but that only made her angry. Phillip showed up with Alan Michael and as soon as Hope finished hugging her baby she poured herself a big drink. Annabelle was regressed to when she was a little girl and remembered being out on the lake and seeing a lady in the lake. When her therapist asked her who it was, she said, "It's me. Annabelle Sims." Ross went to see Annabelle's therapist and told her about the picture of the fishing trip and that he thinks Annabelle is in danger and he gave her the names of the men in the picture. At a board meeting Ed proved that Warren mishandled the Chamberlain case and then lied, but the board director was given a note to read, and changed his mind about firing Warren. Beth cried on Phillip's shoulder but didn't tell him about the examination.

Leslie Ann rented an apartment in nurse's housing and told Floyd she was moving out because she needs to think. Hope had a big scene with the whole family about her drinking. Ed was blunt and she thought him cruel. Mike doesn't want to face her alcohol addiction. Eli came down real hard on Annabelle about seeing a therapist. Tony had a long talk with him and convinced him to be more supportive. Annabelle knows she's close to a major break-through and has another appointment tomorrow. Henry fretted about his memory loss until Quint and Nola told him that he's gonna be a grandfather. If the baby's a boy they're gonna name him Thomas Henry or Henry Thomas. Katy helped out at Co. 'cause Floyd had the night off and Tony was taking Annabelle to a fancy French restaurant. Bea helped Eli accept Annabelle's therapy and then Eli asked Bea for a date. Floyd showed up at Co. VERY upset.

Ross told Trish that he has an APB out on HB 'cause he wants to confront him about the strange things that have been going on. Eli went to see Annabelle's therapist & said he wanted to help. When he mentioned the fire in her office & said Annabelle had told him about it, she excused herself & went to call Ross Marler. Eli overheard her dialing & he killed her. Vanessa kept her promise to Quint about being nice to Bea in exchange for him teaching her how to run the computer. She stopped at the boarding house and apologized for how she's behaved. Mike spent the whole day with Hope and told her Ed's suggestion that she check out AA. She went to the meeting, decided she'd made a mistake and was about to leave when Ed appeared and said, "Hello. My name is Ed. And I'm an alcoholic." Bea made herself a new dress for her date with Eli. As they left he promised Tony he'd take real good care of Bea. Hillary offered to move into Leslie Ann's new place with her.

Ross went to the boarding house and told them that Annabelle's therapist had been murdered. Eli started acting hostile and defensive about Annabelle. She was very upset but she agreed to talk to Ross. Tony hired Mike to give Annabelle legal advise. Ross and Mike privately agreed that Annabelle couldn't be guilty of murder and Ross issued an arrest warrant for HB. Eli sat in his room and talked to the "fish trip" picture, calling the woman Annie, and saying he'd killed Henry & HB & HB's children. Hope asked Mike to stop the divorce proceedings. She told him that she's not going to drink today and she'll worry about tomorrow when it gets here. Mike gave her a lot of support and encouragement. She also talked to Ed and thanked him for his support. Henry has to go back into the hospital for surveillance while they adjust his medication. Phillip and Beth went to Laurel Falls and agreed that it isn't important to have sex.

Ed asked Kelly & Claire to assist on the micro-surgery he's gonna have to have. He had a scene with Warren about his leave of absence. Warren told him there may not be a position for a surgeon, if the operation works. Ed told him to "Go to Hell". Eli overheard Tony and Annabelle discuss her seeing the court appointed psychiatrist and about the policeman Ross has covering Annabelle. Trish found out that Ross has an arrest warrant out on HB and told him she won't work for him anymore. She went and told Josh. Josh went to see Tony and found out that it's all connected to Annabelle and the picture. He started trying to track down HB, with no luck. Meanwhile, HB is holed up in a flophouse in Springfield. Warren went to Leslie Ann's new apartment, but they got interrupted by Hillary moving her stuff in. Leslie Ann admitted to Hillary that all she knows for sure is that she needs a friend.

Eli had a talk with Josh about setting LTA up with some government contracts. Then he went to LTA and talked with Billy. Billy wasn't fooled and knew Eli wasn't there about business. Annabelle's session with the psychiatrist failed to turn up anything. He thinks the block is so strong they can't get past it. She asked Ross about the tapes from her sessions with Gwen Harding and he was surprised and wants to find the tapes. Ross wanted to question Henry, but Quint refused to let him. Vanessa invited Agatha to lunch and was furious that Agatha kept talking with Nola about tea accessories instead of talking business with her. Agatha asked Billy to escort her to dinner at Vanessa's. Josh told Lola about looking for his dad, so she placed a phone call and located him. HB was real surprised to see Josh walk in. Josh asked him if he knew the police wanted him. HB asked if Josh had come to turn him in.

Claire & Kelly's party for Ed was a success. Everyone is real excited about him having the surgery. Josh tried to talk HB into talking to the police & getting everything straightened out. HB said that his life is in danger & he was on the verge of unraveling the puzzle. He got Josh to promise to deliver a message to Henry to keep quiet & he'll fix things so Henry can tell it all in 2 weeks. Annabelle told Eli about seeing the police psychiatrist & he freaked out. He got quite hysterical when she mentioned the tapes of her sessions. He wanted her to promise not to let anyone listen to them. She told him that she's gonna have to make her own decisions. Mindy found Bradley and, in the guise of friendly chatter, told him that Phillip had set up an art studio in the stables for Beth. Bradley called Mindy trash right to her fact, but he went to the stables and started threatening Phillip. Claire had another date with Ross.

Bradley threatened to kill Phillip if he ever sees Beth again and he admitted that he was the one who had tried to blackmail Alan. Beth overheard the whole thing and realized that Bradley was the one that told Phillip about his real father. She left to try to talk some sense into Bradley and wouldn't let Phillip come with her. Mindy also overheard and went to Rick to get him to warm Phillip that Bradley's dangerous and she admitted it was her that told Bradley about Beth going to the stables. Vanessa was furious that Billy came to her dinner party for Agatha. Josh found a copy of the fishing picture, at LTA, with HB's fact rubbed out. He showed it to Trish and she decided to tell Ross. Josh went to warn HB, but Miss Sally claimed she'd never heard of HB or seen Josh before. Claire and Ross agreed to date because neither of them wants to get romantically involved right now. Josh gave Henry HB's message, but Henry wouldn't tell him anything about the fishing trip.

Beth confronted Bradley with all that she'd overheard and told him that he's a horrible person. And she said that all agreements were off about keeping quiet about him pushing her down the stairs. It developed into a fight and Bradley went beserk just as Lillian came home. Annabelle went to the school to meet with a professor, but it was HB and he grabbed her and held a gun on her and questioned her about her connection to the picture. Tony grabbed HB and held him while Annabelle called Ross. Ross questioned HB and became convinced that HB's life is in danger. Vanessa found out that Nola is pregnant and it really freaked her out. She told Billy that it's easier to run Spaulding than to be nice to Nola. Agatha's having fun pushing Billy and Vanessa together. Rick went to see Phillip and they patched up their friendship. HB suggested to Ross that the entire families of the people involved are in danger. And reminded Ross about Tom.

The U.S. invaded the island of Grenada today, so George Schultz gave a news conference at 2:00 PM and the show was "joined in progress" with only 20 minutes left. Tony told Bea how upset he was that Ross had had HB, and had let him go. Eli started his first day as a volunteer at the hospital. Henry checked back into the hospital. Eli was in his room, asking Henry if he remembered him, when Leslie Ann walked in. Lillian tried to talk to Bradley, but he'd spent his lunch hour at a bar and he wouldn't talk to her. Ed announced that he's gonna stay awake for the operation and watch.

Ed had his operation. He was a bit sorry about deciding to stay awake and he could only lay there and worry and fantasize. The operation went well. Phillip had a fight with Bradley at Cedars and Bradley pulled his gun on him. The other security guards had to jump Bradley and Warren Andrews fired him as soon as he'd heard what had happened. Lillian blamed Phillip and told him to stay away from Beth. Phillip convened Beth that she couldn't go home. Eli overheard Henry's doctor tell Leslie Ann how dangerous it would be if Henry's medication wasn't given in the exact dosage. He stole the chart and changed the dosage and Henry went into convulsions just as Ross had started to tell him about the accident with the respirator. Phillip hung out with Rick during Ed's operation. Later Rick broke his Homecoming dance date with Mindy. She was furious and threatened to never speak to him again. He said, "Promises. Promises."

Henry completely recovered from his attack and told Quint and Vanessa that he'd even started getting back his memory. Leslie Ann got blamed for the over-dosage and Warren smoothed it out for her, for which she was grateful and convinced that he really cares about her. Beth arrived home in the morning while Bradley and Lillian were fighting about her and about Bradley's drinking. Beth tried to talk to her mother, but Lillian got a call from work and dashed out. Beth tried to get her stuff and leave, but Bradley pulled a gun on her and made her call Phillip and tell him not to pick her up. The Bradley said, "Now we have time to get better acquainted." Ross questioned Eli about Annabelle's childhood. Eli referred to Annabelle's mother as Janet and showed Ross a picture of her that didn't look anything like Annabelle. Later Eli was in his room talking to the picture and called the woman Annie and referred to Annabelle as their daughter. Ed's operation was a complete success.

Tony and Bea had a long talk about Ross's questioning of Bea about Tom. Bea still loves Tom, no matter what. Tony insists that neither Tom nor Annabelle are guilty of murder. Tony got Annabelle remembering what happened to Bill Bauer, but Eli interrupted. Tony asked him why he doesn't want Annabelle to remember. Leslie Ann told Floyd she won't ever be back. Mindy won Homecoming queen and Billy arranged for a player for the N.Y. Jets to be her date. Josh and Trish made plans to go to the game and cheer Mindy. Billy tried to get Vanessa to have a fun evening with him. She returned later and Josh told her she'd just missed Billy. Then they heard an explosion and looked out and saw Billy's car blowing up. Beth tried to placate Bradley but he wouldn't let her out of his sight and he kept taunting her about Phillip. She finally fought back and the knocked her down. And she didn't get back up.

Billy was killed when his car blew up. Josh, Trish & Vanessa called the police and then went to Billy's apartment and told Mindy. She took it VERY hard. Phillip pounded on Beth's front door, but Bradley wouldn't let him in. Obviously, he'd raped her. She was in the shower when Phillip tried pounding on her window. He went to Cedars to tell Lillian that he was worried about Beth's safety. Lillian told him that all their problems were his fault. She went home & Bradley admitted that he'd "lost his temper" with Beth. Lillian tried to talk to Beth, but Beth clammed up. All she said is that she won't be seeing Phillip anymore. Annabelle and Tony went to Ross's office to listen to the tapes of Annabelle's sessions, but they found Lionel unconscious and the tapes gone. Tony talked Annabelle into going into hiding. Quint and Nola decided to get Henry out of the hospital so he'd be safer. Eli burned the tapes.

Tony and Annabelle went into hiding. They stopped by Quint and Nola's first and told Nola to keep Bea with her. Quint and Nola brought Henry home from the hospital and then had a fight about getting Henry to tell what he knows. Quint finally agreed after Nola explained about Bea finding Tony's lighter, and her fears that her father might be involved. Bea snuck out and went back to the boarding house and told Eli that Henry was at home. Sally told HB that Billy had been killed and he vowed revenge on the person who did it. Lionel had a transcript of most of one of Annabelle's tapes. Ross read it and realized that it contradicted what Eli had told him. He ordered Lionel to immediately get all the records on Eli, including Annabelle's birth certificate. Hope and Mike visited Ed in the hospital and hope has been staying off alcohol. Phillip stayed with Mindy. Josh took Vanessa home and she immediately demanded that Henry tell her what it was all about. Annabelle woke up screaming.

Billy isn't dead. After HB showed up at Henry's and got told off by Vanessa for letting his son get killed and made arrangements with Henry to get everyone involved all together at 6:00 PM, and left to go tell Josh and Trish. Vanessa answered the doorbell and fainted when she saw Billy. He'd traded cars with Betty and drove around all night thinking about Vanessa. They admitted how much they love each other. Phillip tried to see Beth but she refused. She's locked herself into her room and she sits in a daze pulling the stuffing from her doll. She had Lillian give Phillip back the necklace he'd given her. Tony and Annabelle are staying in a cabin, trying to revive her memories. She talked about her dream of being in the water and getting scared and admitted that the "she" in her dream was the age she is now. Tony realized she must've seen the woman in the picture. Eli was waiting for HB at Billy's apartment and shot him. HB got the elevator closed and moving.

Mindy was thrilled that her daddy is still alive. As were Josh & Trish. Billy announced that, if he has his way, Vanessa will be his wife. HB knew it was Eli who shot him, but he disappeared & so far no one knows what happened to him. Beth told Bradley that she died inside when he "did what he did" to her. She told him she plans on staying in her room and isn't going back to school. Phillip talked to Rick and convinced him that something bad has happened to Beth. Tony convinced Annabelle that the woman in the picture is the key to her mental block and they went to Nola's to get Henry to tell them who she is. Ross discovered that Billy is still alive and found out that Eli's military records are missing. Nola had a hard time talking Maureen into coming to the meeting. She also told Bea & Eli about Billy being alive and about the meeting. Eli thinks the gathering is perfect. Billy isn't worried about HB and said he's just doing his own thing. Just where is HB?

Annabelle and Tony showed up at Nola's to find out what Henry knows about the woman in the picture. They found out about the meeting and that Billy is still alive. Tony decided to go see Ross and left Annabelle at Nola's, where she'd be safe. Tony and Ross went over the transcript from the session and agreed that Eli is a prime suspect. Ross went to have a talk with him but he wasn't there. Tony unlocked the door to Eli's room and they found bomb makings. Eli had put a bomb into Tony's old camera and got Bea to take it to the meeting. People started showing up for the meeting, but Henry worried about HB. No one has heard from him. Phillip got Rick to go see Beth. Once Bradley finally agreed to call Beth to the door, Phillip came out from hiding in the bushes and Beth told him that she never wants to see him again. Maureen didn't want to go to the meeting, but Ed talked her into it. He's still in the hospital. Henry told Annabelle that doesn't know the identity of the woman.

Tony and Ross realized that Eli is the murderer. Ross left the boarding house and had a flat tire on the way to the Chamberlains. HB didn't show up so Henry started the story without him. He told about the fishing trip and the lively girl named Annie who spend three days coming to visit and party with them. He stressed that Tom hadn't joined in the antics. The 3rd day they all had a lot to drink and went out onto Lake Elizabeth and dared Annie to take off her dress and dive in. She did and swam around a little and then just disappeared. They called but then went in without finding her, and never reported it. They made a vow to never tell. Bea had Tom's camera, with Eli's bomb in it. Eli pulled a weapon on Tony and is threatening to kill him. Phillip is in a state of shock from Beth saying she never wants to see him again. Lillian asked Beth if Phillip had tried to force himself and Beth burst out laughing hysterically. Alan returned and made it to the meeting. He was very cold to Hope and tried to charm Trish.

Ross made it to the Chamberlains and heard Henry complete the story about finding out the day after Annie had disappeared that she'd drowned. They all made a vow to never tell anyone. Henry thought Tom probably left because it was too much pressure to keep such a secret. Eli rambled on at Tony and admitted that Tom had come to face him about it. When Tony discovered that Eli had a bomb in the camera Bea took to the meeting he knocked Eli aside and dashed off. Ross figured out that the camera was a bomb and saved everyone by throwing it out the door. He was the only one hurt. Annabelle decided to go to the lake. Eli decided to go to the lake and Tony realized they may have gone to the lake. Josh got a telegram from HB saying he had something to take care of and apologized for missing the meeting. Phillip decided to get Alan to hire Bradley back and thinks that will mean that Beth will see him again. Claire got involved with a little girl who's mother is seriously injured.

Annabelle drove to Lake Elizabeth and started remembering being there as a little girl. Ross tried running the investigation from his hospital bed. Trish is staying with him and helping. Everyone but Annabelle knows that Eli is the killer, but they can't figure out why. Bert told Hillary that her dad, Bill, hadn't committed suicide. He was murdered. Claire freaked out when the welfare people came to get the little girl, yelling at Kelly, "How could you let them take our baby?!" Mindy went to see Alan to convince him not to hire Bradley back and told him that it was Bradley who told Phillip about his real father. Alan informed her that he'll do as he sees fit, and she's out of her league. Alan granted Phillip's request to rehire Bradley. Tony is following Annabelle to the lake and stopped at the same country store for directions as Annabelle had. The owner gave him a real hard time, thinking she was "the girl". Tony had to threaten to destroy the store before the guy gave him an answer.

Trish went to see Alan and told him that she isn't coming back to work for him. Hope also went to see Alan and told him that she's no longer willing to be defined by him, or anyone else. Alan hired Bradley as special security officer for the executive offices. And arranged to have his every movement watched. Eli fluctuates between thinking Annabelle is Annie and thinking she's still a little girl. He ranted about killing everyone, including Tom Reardon. Annabelle is confused, but is remembering things and is determined not to block them out. She remembered the conversation Eli had with Bill Bauer when he killed him. It was exactly like her nightmare when she thought she'd killed Bill Bauer. Tony arrived at the lake but hasn't found Annabelle yet. Eli plans on taking her out onto the lake. Claire took Loren in to see her Mommy, and got Loren to speak, for the first time. Phillip dreamed about Beth.

Quint and Nola found Bea sitting in the dark blaming herself for not recognizing that Eli is a murderer. She's afraid that she's lost Tony the same way she lost Tom. Ross finally got out of the hospital. Hillary said, "We can't tell you how glad we are to see you go." Trish insisted on driving him to Lake Elizabeth. Quint has ordered a helicopter to take them there. At the lake, Eli took Annabelle out onto the lake and she remembered watching her mother drown. Eli had killed her, too. He tried to kill Annabelle by hitting her with an oar, but Tony caught up to them and jumped Eli. Tony and Annabelle ended up in the water with Eli trying to kill Tony, and Eli gets shot. We don't know who shot him. Maybe HB. Phillip found Beth at school and tried to get her to tell him what was wrong but she insisted that she doesn't want to see him anymore. She told him to leave her alone or she'll leave school. Claire had a dream about being married to Kelly and having a baby. Ross found out that Eli was married to Annie.

Tony saved Annabelle from drowning. She showed him the place where Eli had buried Tom. Tony told Ross that he'd heard a shot, but the general idea is that Eli drowned. Annabelle now remembers everything. Tony had to tell Bea what had happened to Tom. HB is the one who shot Eli. Afterwards he took the gun off into the woods and buried it. Annabelle told them about Tom coming to see her dad just shortly after her mommy died. Tom had told Eli that Annie hadn't done anything to be ashamed of. Claire and Kelly had a big fight about him kissing her and she insisted that she doesn't want a serious relationship, but later she told him that she does have strong feelings for him. Mindy and Rick hung out at the pinball arcade and had a scene with a couple of gang members. Annabelle was freaked out when she learned about the bomb and that Ross had been hurt. But she told Ross all she remembered.

Annabelle blamed herself for everything that happened and wanted to leave Springfield. Tony got her to break down and let out all her pain and anger. HB showed up again. He told Ross that it's best to close the case of Eli Simms. He said, "Some things it's better to not know". Trish went to dinner with Ross and ran into Alan who was having dinner with Clarence Bailey. Alan told Clarence that he plans to marry Trish. However, Trish was flaunting her admiration for Ross. Lillian wasn't able to get Beth to tell her what's wrong. She thinks Phillip did something terrible to Beth. Phillip showed up, demanding to see Beth so he could tell her that she's gonna lose her job if she doesn't show up for work. Lillian called the police. Phillip told Bradley that he'd arranged for Bradley to be hired back at Spaulding. Billy and Vanessa went to dinner. They chatted with Alan for a while. Agatha stopped by their table and teased them about investing her money.

Ross went to get Phillip out of jail and tried to talk to him, but Phillip wouldn't listen, so Ross went and talked to Alan. Alan called Bradley in and told him to press charges against Phillip for harassment. Hope came by Alan's office with her lawyer, who served Alan with divorce papers. He had copies made and had one copy sent to Trish. She stormed into his office in a fury and informed Alan that she doesn't intend to be another on of his acquisitions. HB stopped LTA and Josh started fighting with him. Billy and Vanessa couldn't agree to mutually call of their bet, so they each went to Agatha and begged her to invest in the other one's company. Annabelle started clearing Eli's things out of his room. Tony finally got her to admit that she loved her father and she misses him. She remembered the first time she ever saw Janet, who she'd thought was her mother. Ross plans on working full time on his campaign. Alan plans on making Ross lose.

Phillip cornered Beth in a class room and showed her the court order saying he can't come near her. He couldn't get her to talk to him. Annabelle went back to work and explained to her class a little of what had happened to her. Maureen had a talk with Bea, who's having trouble dealing with Annabelle. And Maureen had a long talk with Ed about how she'd hated, but loved her dad all those years. She kept mentioning her brother Jimmy. Will he show up? Kelly and Claire went around acting snippy with each other. Everyone else had figured out that they're in love. Warren dumped Leslie Ann. She tried to talk to him and he was cold and cruel. Hillary tried to talk to him and he was nasty. Mindy finally talked Phillip into coming to her survivor party. Beth got her job back at the country club and she'll be serving at Mindy's party. Katy told Hillary about spending the previous evening with Kelly, and his constant about Claire. Leslie Ann is devastated by Warren's rejection.

Phillip showed up at Mindy's party, where Beth was serving. He made a big deal of announcing that he couldn't get within 50 feet of her or he'd get arrested. Later he confronted her and asked her way she's killing him. She broke down and cried and let him hold and comfort her. When he kissed her she flashed on Bradley and pushed Phillip away and ran out. Billy and Vanessa announced their engagement. Billy told Alan that he plans on ruining him. Alan wants to destroy Billy and Vanessa's relationship. Leslie Ann is acting suicidal. Tony, Quint and Ed all tried to cheer up Annabelle, but she told Tony that it wasn't gonna work if she couldn't make things right with his mother. When Annabelle left the room, Nola told Tony it was somebody else's turn to try to help Annabelle. Bea said, "She means me," and went in and started doing dishes with Annabelle and talking about Tom. Finally she hugged Annabelle and said, "Oh, Annabelle, he would've loved you."

Nola found out that Quint had forced Vanessa to promise to be nice to her & she's furious. Billy told Vanessa that she's gonna have to accept that Quint is her brother and Nola is his wife and she should be nice. Billy gave Vanessa a huge diamond ring. Alan worked on ruining Ross's career and breaking up Ross and Trish and on breaking up Billy & Vanessa. Rick went to see Beth. She talked to him but wouldn't tell him what had happened. Phillip asked Ross to pay a call on Bradley. Bradley and Beth fought about Rick's being there and about her moving out. Ross showed up while they were fighting and Beth told him to come in, there was something she wanted to tell him. Alan called Warren Andrews in and informed him that Spaulding has bought a string of hospitals, including Cedars and that he wants a certain doctor brought in who's doing research and is on the verge of a breakthrough. Trish tried to talk Mindy out of chasing after Phillip.

Ross told Phillip that Beth said that she wanted to end the relationship. Phillip wrote Beth a letter and asked her to call him. Nola took Stacy to Bea's. Vanessa showed up, all sweetness and light, asking Nola to come back home. Quint showed up and apologized for making the deal with Vanessa, but Nola still wouldn't go home. Quint left angry. The whore that Alan hired to ruin Ross showed up at Ross's campaign office to sign on as a volunteer. She asked him to call her Karen and she told herself it was gonna be an easy assignment. Hillary invited Leslie Ann to join her at Ed and Maureen's for Thanksgiving, but Leslie Ann refused. She tried to talk to Warren and got shot down and she tried to talk to Floyd and got shot down. So she stole some drugs from the hospital. I imagine she's gonna try to kill herself. Kelly and Claire planned on going to Ed & Maureen's, but Claire complained about the selfishness, so Kelly came up with a surprise.

Kelly put together a Thanksgiving party for the kids and staff in the hospital cafeteria. Claire was thrilled but Warren tried to raise a stink. Quint went to Maureen's and finally kissed Nola into accepting his apology and convinced her to go home with him by telling her that Vanessa needs to learn how to have fun. Nola and Quint brought home several people from the shelter house to have Thanksgiving dinner with them. Vanessa was mortified. Beth refused to say grace for the blessing and Bradley badgered her. Twice she said, "Dearest Father, forgive us our trespasses." Finally, she said grace, but when Bradley ordered her to eat she grabbed a handful of mashed potatoes and pushed it all over her face. He slapped her. Phillip kept waiting for Beth to call. Hope is in New York. Mike, Ed, Maureen, Rick, Tony, Annabelle, Bea & Henry were at Ed's. Quint, Nola, Vanessa, Billy, HB, Trish, Josh, Ross, Jane and Henry are at Henry's. Kelly, Claire, Floyd and Katy were at Cedars. Leslie Ann was home alone and tried to kill herself. Floyd and Katy found her.

Alan went and met with Billy's ex-wife, Reva and struck up a deal with her to ruin Billy and Vanessa's engagement. Leslie Ann wasn't glad to have her life saved. Kelly blew up and told her off. Hillary talked to her and broke down sobbing because she'd been so scared. Floyd went to see Warren and showed him the suicide letter Leslie Ann had written to him (Warren) and threatened to kill him if he doesn't show Leslie Ann enough love to make her want to live. Warren convinced Leslie Ann to move in with him. Phillip saw the judge about the harassment charge and agreed to stay away from Beth. But in the school lounge a couple of hoods bothered Beth and she freaked out and Phillip fought with them. Annabelle had a long talk with Beth and let her know she cares and is always willing to listen if Beth wants to talk. Billy tried to talk Vanessa into quitting at Spaulding after their marriage. She refused. Billy promised to help bring Alan down a few pegs.

Phillip fought with the gang, the Galahads, to protect Beth. He ended up with their knife. He would've been kicked out of school if Rick hadn't spoken up for him. HB decided that he wants Ross as a son-in-law, so he barged into Ross's campaign office with Billy & Josh, offering support. Trish was embarrassed, Ross was tickled. Karen's plan to seduce Ross got messed up, but she came back to the office later and asked Ross to have a cup of coffee with her and she put something into his coffee. Hillary told Katy, Lillian & Ed about what happened with Leslie Ann. She's vowed to never be dependent on a man. She's feeling angry and bitter and guilty. Annabelle talked to Tony about practicing domesticity. They tried to bake bread together. Ed was surprised to hear about Leslie Ann, but said that she can't practice nursing if she's that unstable. Hillary has given up on Leslie Ann.

Reva prepared her attack on Billy. She's sure she can break up him & Vanessa. Vanessa, Billy, Quint, Nola & Henry got into a poker game. Nola & Vanessa almost came to violence. Henry laughed real hard. Karen got Ross to drink the drugged coffee, the she arranged everything and a photographer showed up and took pictures. Trish worried when Ross didn't show up for their date. Josh stopped by and lamented the lack of a serious relationship in his life. Alan stopped by, but Trish asked him to leave. Alan took champagne to Henry's as a peace offering. The Galahads went into Tony & Co. and asked Floyd about Phillip. He said, "We don't give out reports." They tried to act tough but Tony and Floyd convinced them to leave. The leader said he wouldn't forget. Warren told Leslie Ann that he wants her to stay with him and he's gonna try to pay more attention to her. Warren assured Alan that he's hired the new doctor.

The pictures of Ross and Karen hit the front page of the newspaper. Trish pounded on Ross's door until he woke up and he convinced her that he'd been set up. Clarence Bailey talked to Ross, then to Alan and suspects that Alan is behind the set-up. Trish suspected Alan and confronted him with it. He denied it and offered to use his power to offset the bad publicity, if Trish would agree to go out with him. She told him to go to hell. Alan withdrew his support from Ross's campaign. Kelly and Claire had another fight. Katy told off Warren and then Ed had words with Warren. Ed tested Ross for poison and found enough to have kept Ross asleep another 6 hours. They Galahads were in Tony & Co. again, trying to cause trouble, but they didn't get much attention. Floyd won $100,000.00 in the lottery. Warren informed Ed about the new doctor. Ed's concerned because the kind of research he does is dangerous.

Quint and Billy got into a fight because Billy said that Nola dresses "weird". Nola came in and they lied about what they'd been screaming about and then Billy asked Quint to be an usher and said Vanessa wanted Nola to be a bridesmaid. Vanessa hated the idea but Billy talked her into it. Hillary rented a cabin that was also rented to someone else. First she hit him over the head with a bottle of wine and then they ended up kissing. Reva moved into room 604 at the Springfield Towers. She met with Alan and questioned him about Vanessa. Billy went to visit Josh at 602 Springfield Towers and ran into Reva at the elevator. She ran back to her room 'cause she wasn't ready to let him know she's in town, but he recognized her. Mindy and Phillip and Rick got into a big fight. Phillip was planning to move in with Ross until he heard about the bad publicity. He's trying to reach Ross to offer his help.

Phillip and Mindy made love. She's got him a little bit talked into letting her help him forget about Beth. Reva tried a big come-on with Billy, but he wasn't buying it. She didn't like getting turned down. Hillary is still at the cabin and was kissed by the guy that's there. She still doesn't know his name, but she thinks she's falling in love. Beth went and talked a little to Annabelle about what she's going through with Bradley. Annabelle told Beth that, if she wants to move out of her present home, she could come and live at the boarding house. Beth decided that that's what she wants to do, as soon as possible. Phillip moved in with Ross and they're gonna try being a family. Ross told Phillip that he should tell Alan what he's planning to do - that he has to get straight about his relationship with Alan. Katy flirted with Tony & made Annabelle jealous. Floyd made plans to spend his sweepstakes winnings.

Reva showed up at Billy's and got into an insulting match with Mindy. She tried to convince Billy that she can't get along without him. He still didn't fall for it and paid her a shitload of money to get out of town. She took it but isn't gonna leave. Phillip told Alan that he's gonna move in with Ross, and also tried to explain how he feels about Beth. Alan had Beth come to see him and realized why Phillip loves her but decided that it cannot be. Hilary's man left her a note, with saying who he is. He's the new doctor that Alan ordered Warren to hire. Vanessa found a perfumed scarf right outside Billy's door and got real jealous. Billy placated her, but didn't tell her that Reva had been there. Alan called Bradley into his office and gave him a hard time and told him to make sure Beth doesn't have anything more to do with Phillip. Mindy has convinced herself that she has Phillip back and he now loves her again.

Hillary was back at work ... in a fog of love. She told Katy all about her encounter and insisted that she's gonna see him again, even though she doesn't know who he is. Dr. Stevens tried to turn down Alan's job offer, but Alan convinced him that he can close all other avenues of funds. Hillary went to visit Leslie Ann and said she now understands better and she wishes her well. Beth tried to talk to Lillian but couldn't manage any more than that she hates Bradley and she wants to move out. Bradley walked in as they were arguing and Beth went upstairs. Rick was just outside and heard Bradley and Lillian fighting and heard Lillian ask Bradley what kind of love caused him to hold a knife at Beth's throat Thanksgiving Day. Ross had a live TV news interview and explained that he'd been set up. Ed was there to verify that Ross had been drugged. The interviewer tried to make implications but Ross' speech was real good.

Vanessa tried to plan her wedding, but got a hard time from Billy, Nola and Quint. She wept to Daddy that all she wants is a simple little wedding with a sit down dinner for 500 hundred people. Rick told Ross what he'd overheard at Beth's house so Ross went and talked to Beth. He explained that she has legal recourse if Bradley is threatening her and he offered to help in any way at all. The results of the poll show that most of the voters believe that Ross is innocent and he's still leading. Trish realized that Alan had planned the smear of Ross, because he couldn't have her. Alan admitted it but told her that she can't prove it. Ed argued with Warren about Dr. Stevens new lab and even went to the director of the hospital board , trying to explain that the kind of research will endanger all the patients at Cedars. Beth admitted to Ross that she still loves Phillip. She told Ross that she's doing all she can about her situation ... that she has to take baby steps.

Billy and Vanessa had dinner at the club and Reva was there with HB. Billy was nervous but didn't tell Vanessa anything. Reva followed Vanessa into the ladies room and offered to buy her penthouse. Tony and Annabelle and Bea worked together making Irish stew. Beth showed up and asked for a room, saying she didn't know anywhere else to go. Ed met Dr. Stevens and promised full cooperation, but worried about why Dr. Stevens' research has to be such a big secret. Katy showed Dr. Stevens around Cedars and she was quite taken by him. She wants Ed to make her Dr. Steven's assistant. Kelly and Claire hassled about whether to go out on a date. Mindy saw Dr. Sedgwick about birth control and may be planning to get pregnant. Phillip explained to Mindy that he's not ready to be a poppa, but it's okay to be together. He really believes it's over with Beth. Bradley freaked about Beth moving out and went to find Phillip.

Trish told Josh about her affair with Alan and her suspicion that Alan is trying to ruin Ross. She talked to Ross and asked him how much he wants to win the election and promised to do all within her power to help. Bradley waited all night at the stables and accused Phillip of spending the night with Beth, but was pleased to hear that Beth hadn't gone to Phillip. Phillip asked Alan to force Bradley to leave Beth alone. Alan agreed but then ordered Bradley to gain legal guardianship of Beth, and move his family to Vancouver. Warren confronted Dr. Stevens about the fact that he's an impostor. Dr. Stevens is dead and his assistant wants to carry on his work as quickly as possible. It just so happens that this doctor ruined Warren's marriage. Reva barged into Vanessa's office and met Henry and demanded to buy Vanessa's apartment, still posing as her secretary, Anita. She went to Alan to get more help with catching Billy. She charmed Henry. Billy agreed to live in Henry's mansion, so Vanessa instructed Mike to sell her apartment. Beth loved the boarding house.

Beth talked to Bea about how worried she was about her momma and that she'd left home because of Bradley. Bea went to Cedars and told Lillian where Beth is staying, and promised to take good care of her. Bradley showed up at Cedars and Lillian lied about knowing where Beth is. Bradley told her his plans to move them to Vancouver and his plan to take Beth to court to force her to move back home. Lillian went to the boarding house and Bradley followed her. Tony had to convince him to leave. And Tony promised Beth that she's safe. Trish tried to talk to HB about Alan trying to ruin Ross, but HB wouldn't credit her involvement. Then HB got into a hassle with Josh. Then HB went to see Maureen and they talked and he felt better. Katy offered to be Dr. Steven's research assistant and he hired her. Katy told Hillary what a hunk Dr. Stevens is. Neither of them know he's the man of both their dreams. Rick talked to Mindy, the Mindy talked to Phillip and realized Phillip still wants Beth.

Ed saw that Lillian had a black eye and got her to admit that Bradley had hit her and even got her to go see Mike. But she refused to turn against Bradley even when Mike offered all his help. Bradley showed up at Cedars and found out where Lillian had gone and waited for her. He apologized for what he'd done and promised that it'd never happen again. She told him that they had several things to discuss later. Beth went to class and didn't talk to Phillip, but told Rick where she's staying. Mindy warned Beth to leave Phillip alone. Katy helped "Dr. Stevens" set up the new lab, while he remembered his promise to the real Dr. Stevens. His real name is James. Trish offered to meet Alan's demands if he'd stop sabotaging Ross's career, but couldn't agree to resume their relationship. Alan made her admit that she's in love with Ross, and then he told her to leave. Reva went to see Mike about buying Vanessa's apartment and he made the arrangement and then Reva convinced him to escort her to the hospital tea and she announced her real name.

I forgot to write last night. Christmas activities. To date - Kelly and Claire made love and he asked her to marry him. Now she's worried that she's gotten more involved than she meant to. Bradley took Lillian and a policeman into Beth's classroom to force her to go to court. It turned into chaos and Beth and Phillip escaped through the window. Katy is falling for "Dr. Stevens", who didn't appear at the tea party given in his honor. Everyone else was there. Reva succeeded in buying Vanessa's penthouse before revealing her identity to Vanessa, who was furious with Billy for not telling her who Reva was. Anita talked to Josh and he told her to leave town and stay away from Billy. Mike told Alan that Hope has been offered a job in New York and may not be back for quite a while. Alan harassed Warren and gave him a new job ... undermining Ross's campaign. Dr. (Hun Loo?) has offered Quinten a job at the university. Maureen found out that she can't get pregnant until she relaxes and she told Ed that she needs quality time with her husband. Bert is with her sister-in-law who had a relapse. Warren proposed to Leslie Ann.

Beth and Phillip took off and are headed for New York. They stopped at a cafe in Verona, Ind. and Phillip plans to trade cars with the waitress, a young girl hooked on Shakespearean and making something of herself. Mindy freaked out about Phillip and went running to Alan. She found him at the country club and sobbed out the story to Alan, Trish and Ross. Alan told Ross to leave the police out of it, that he'd handle it. He started to take Mindy to his office with him, but Billy stopped him and told Mindy she was never to run to Alan Spaulding for anything. Reva told Billy that their divorce wasn't legal and she threatened to cause him every kind of trouble unless he comes up with five million. Josh told Reva to get out of town. Annabelle convinced Lillian to come back to the boarding house with her, telling her that Beth might call there and that the Reardons would be good friends, if she'd let them. Phillip told Beth that they're never going back to Springfield.

Beth & Phillip traded cars with the waitress and continued on to New York. They decided to spend the night sleeping in the car. Alan consulted with Clarence Bailey about getting Phillip back to Springfield without involving the police and about keeping him away from Beth. Bradley got drunk and went in to see Alan. Alan told him off and told him he's never to come around again, he's fired. Floyd showed up at Co. with his date, Anita, who is Reva's secretary. Vanessa questioned Billy about talking so long to Reva.

That's the last entry in the diary. I rather wish I'd continued it and followed the adventures of Beth & Phillip in New York, and Rick and Mindy's trip to New York. Mindy's pregnancy, her marriage to Phillip, India's arrival and marriage to Phillip. Lujak, Roxie and her cat fighting with Mindy. Chelsea and Johnny, Rusty Shane and his Rose. Several stories went by that I'm just as glad to have not kept track of. The dreaming death was the worst, as I remember it. I wasn't a very strong Reva fan, but thoroughly enjoyed the Sonni/Solida storyline.

Beth and Phillip were in New York during the holidays. It's where they met "Nick" Rick and Mindy followed Phillip and Beth to New York, and they had a bunch of adventures of their own.

Judy Evans returned as Beth. Alexandra's accountants didn't find anything amiss in India's books. Maeve left town. Simon decided to leave town. Phillip finished his book. There's a new guy involved with India's father & I suspect it's Alan Spaulding & I suspect that it's even Chris Berneau.

Mindy and Jessie bickered about sharing the Samson Girl title. HB got Reva to agree to stay with him and let him pay to have her house fixed up. Peggy agreed to help Fletcher expose India's embezzling. Fletcher & Maureen talked to Claire, who's still in a coma.

Reva settled in a HB's. Kyle came there looking for her, but she wouldn't go out with him. HB warned him to give Reva up, for her sake and for Maeve's. India's father's cohort IS Alan. Roxie and Jessie went to find Simon and snuck into his hotel room. Calla decided she wants India's job.

Kyle tried to talk Reva into going away with him, once a year, to a deserted island, and maintaining their normal lives in Springfield. Simon rescued Sally Gleason from the crooked art dealer, who took Sally's $10,000. Jessie and Simon found each other.

Simon managed to get Sally's $10,000. back, but almost got him & Jessie shot. Sally offered Simon a job as her chauffeur. Hawk warned Mindy that she'd better start treating Roxie with respect & as an equal or he'll tell Kurt that Mindy started the fire that burned down his dream house. Kyle discovered that Maeve isn't with her parents and realized that he doesn't know where she is.

Alan and the Baron talked about India. I predict that Alan and India will marry. Alex ranted at Calla about how she hates Ross. Simon accepted Sally's job offer. Simon tried to talk to Alex but she threw him out. Beth and Lillian talked about love and about Hawk. India didn't believe Phillip that he no longer loves Beth.

Sally had a fit at Reva when she saw her at HB's. Simon and Jessie admitted they love each other. Mindy and Jessie did their show. Calla daydreamed about running the foundation and marrying Ross. Beth accepted a date with Jackson. Fletcher decided to break into India's house to find the New Beginnings file.

Fletcher left the hospital without a doctor's release and went to India's and found the New Beginnings file. Kyle worried about Maeve. Calla was furious that Simon's still in town and involved with Jessie. Hawk threw a little party for Roxie, who claims she no longer cares about the Sampson Girl title. Mindy tried to sabotage Jessie's part in their Sleeping Beauty skit, but Simon overheard and he sabotaged Mindy's part.

Fletcher confronted India at the Blue Orchid, with proof of her embezzlement. Calla overheard the conversation and turned on a close microphone and everyone heard India admit her guilt. Phillip was furious and immediately called the police. Maeve returned and told Kyle that the baby was stillborn and that she wants a divorce. She told him to go to Reva.

Beth spent the night with Phillip and tried to get close to him, but he was wary. Alexandra wants Phillip to drop his charges against India. Jessie and Simon spent the night together, getting drunk. They played in the park. Flectcher talked Maeve into seeing Kyle and working things out, while Reva talked Kyle into seeing Maeve and working things out. When Maeve got to HB's she found Kyle and Reva hugging but didn't know that Kyle was crying at the loss of his son.

Hawk was released from Cedars. Phillip went to the jail and told India that he hopes she rots there. Alexandra convinced Maeve not to run the story on India and she bailed India out of jail. Claire came out of her coma and admitted that Rick had passed his exam. Rick and Reva found the exam just as it went into the incinerator.

Everyone showed up for Kurt and Mindy's house raising. Kyle has turned cold and bitter. Phillip has turned cold and bitter. Maeve is bitter and determined to divorce Kyle. Simon showed Jessie his apartment. Hawk and HB decided to call a truce.

Blew it and missed recording last half of show. They had the service for Kyle & Maeve's baby. Kyle is devastated. Phillip and Alexandra argued about her bailing India out of jail. Alan started planning his return to Springfield. Someone (probably Alan's flunky) is setting Kyle and Billy up to screw over their plans to buy the radio station.

India rec'd a 30 day sentence of community help - working at the center for juvenile delinquents and spending half her nights in jail. Reva found out that Kyle owns Reva Bend and she was furious. Beth admitted to Jessie that she wants to make love with Phillip, although she isn't sure if she loves him. India got Alexandra to promise her $500,000 to keep from going to the press and telling about Alexandra's cover-up for India's embezzlement. Maeve is having Louie help her with something. I suspect that her baby isn't dead - but is seriously ill.

Maeve's baby boy is named Benjamin. Her diabetes was cured by the delivery. She plans to take the baby and leave the country. India started her service at Stoney Lake. Rick spent time trying to reach Claire. Beth and Phillip made love. Calla and Ross had dinner with Ed and Mo and Calla promoted herself as president of the Spaulding Foundation. Ed finally agreed to go see Claire.

HB took Reva to see the renovations at Reva Bend. She loved it but said she won't live there while Kyle owns it. Fletcher found that Reva is a fair photographer and took her with him to Stoney Lake to interview India. Mo and Rick argued with Ed about Claire. Alan talked the Baron into using the castle as collateral for some ready cash he needs. Ed did go to see Claire. Jessie had a date with Simon but Jackson scheduled her for a Samson Girl appearance.

Louie tried to talk Maeve into telling Kyle about Benjamin, but she's determined to leave Ben with Louie until Kyle agrees to a divorce and moves out of the house. Kyle transferred the title of Reva Bend to Reva, but she still refuses to live there. Beth and Phillip have decided that they love each other and are gonna move into his mansion together.

Dinah, a new character, stowed away in Phillip's car and tried to come on to him. India was furious about Phillip taking the house away from her. Jackson was stunned and furious to find out that Beth is moving in with Phillip. So he fired Beth. Kyle and Maeve had angry words and he agreed to get a divorce. Louie had an emergency at the hospital so he got Roxie to baby sit Ben. Kurt needed her at Co. so she got Reva to come watch the baby. They think he's Louie's nephew.

Dinah got hit by a car in front of Phillip's, so Beth and Phillip offered to let her spend the night. She claims she's just a drifter, with no ties. Kyle went to Louie's to threaten him for being the cause of Maeve losing the baby. He saw Benjamin, but didn't suspect. Rick saw Claire breathe on her own when someone unplugged her respirator. Now he's trying to get Ed to unhook Claire's life support, but Ed is fighting it like crazy. India talked Maeve into letting her stay with her for one week, on her night's off from Stoney Lake.

Jessie read a letter Simon wrote her, in which he said, "When you let me love you." So she thinks he lied to her about them not making love the night in the park. And she's scared she might be pregnant. Phillip asked Vanessa to be the new president of the Spaulding Foundation. And he told Calla he'd like her to be Vanessa's assistant. Jackson told Beth that he wants her to come back to work and that he loves her. She wants to concentrate on her art. Dorrie, one of the girls at Stoney Lake, showed India an escape route and they got locked out. Dinah admitted to Beth that she came to Springfield looking for someone (Simon?)

Alan and the Baron found out that India had been arrested. Alan said he'll go to Switzerland and protect the money India embezzled. India and Dorrie got back into Stoney Lake. Dorrie got stomach flu and India rushed her to the infirmary. They're becoming friends. Kyle tried to get Maeve to tell him the name of the doctor who delivered her baby, but she pretended she couldn't remember. Maeve made plans to leave for Paris, with Ben, on Friday. She promised Fletcher she wouldn't leave without saying good-bye.

The hospital board met, with Vanessa sitting in for Phillip. Vanessa cast the deciding vote to take Claire off the life support system. They did and she was able to breathe on her own. Miss Sally hired Dinah to do her lawn and Dinah met Simon (Guess I was wrong). Fletcher decided to go to Ondora to find out the full story about India's embezzlement. Reva decided to go, too. Billy ordered Vanessa to turn down Phillip's job offer. Vanessa called Phillip and accepted the job. Jackson told Mindy that he's dumping the Samson Girl campaign and she freaked out. Jessie didn't care 'cause she's so worried about Simon.

Everyone was at the airport. Reva and Fletcher on their way to Ondora. Maeve to take Benjamin to Paris. Kyle to keep Maeve from leaving. Kyle and Reva ran into each other and she tried to talk him out of seeking vengeance for the death of his baby. Maeve said good-bye to Fletcher, but didn't tell him that it's forever. Even India showed up at the airport, trying to get to Ondora before her father finds out she's been arrested. Dorrie showed up and announced that she's going with India. Simon and Jessie talked and he finally convinced her that they didn't make love the night they spent together. India overheard Reva talking about HB's jet being ready, so she and Dorrie went aboard and told the pilot to take off. He thinks she's Reva.

Jessie & Simon confronted Calla, and Jessie claimed that they're in love and are gonna be together. Calla demanded to know why Jessie had a pregnancy test. Fletcher and Reva figured out that it was India that took HB's jet. HB decided to let the pilot take her on to Ondora. Maeve was stopped by Kyle at the airport and he talked her into having one more talk before she leaves town. Maeve's mother, Julia, showed up. Phillip told Alexandra that he and Beth are together now, which made her happy. But she blew up when he told her he'd hired Vanessa. Billy blew up about Vanessa accepting the job.

Maeve decided not to leave. Alex is convinced that Simon was hired by Alan to torment her. India and Dorrie reached Ondora. Calla told Alex that she's accepted the job as Vanessa's assistant at the foundation. Beth refused Kyle's request that she come back to work on the campaign, so Jackson's gonna try to cause her trouble.

India met Alan and had a fit about him being involved with her father. She has a low opinion of him and won't excuse him for letting Phillip think he was dead. Mindy kept having fits about Beth leaving the Samson Girl campaign in the lurch. Roxie got a new job. Reva was offered more work as a photographer. Claire is starting to come out of her coma. Kyle went to see her and remembered the night on the bridge. Dinah started telling Beth and Phillip a little bit about herself. They said she can continue to stay with them.

Simon went to Fletcher to see what he knows about Alan Spaulding. Simon wants to track him down. Jackson got drunk and started calling Beth ugly names. Dinah got a job with Roxie at Kiyogi. Jessie and Mindy had to improvise at an awards function because Jackson didn't have speeches for them. Billy fired Jackson. Claire came out of her coma.

Fletcher saw Maeve holding Ben and mistakenly thought she was grieving for her baby. Dorrie was fascinated with all the things at the castle. Alan was fascinated that Dorrie can make India laugh. Simon admitted to Jessie that Lujak's father was also his father. Jackson made sure that Mindy got a copy of the skin magazine that published the pictures of her that he'd sent to them, claiming they were submitted by Beth.

Mindy was real upset about her pictures being in the skin magazine. Beth came by to assure Mindy that she didn't have anything to do with it. Kurt figured out that it had to have been Jackson and went to the Blue Orchid to confront him. India started trying to find out what Alan did with the $500,000. she sent to her father. Alan is trying to charm India. She was furious when her father let it slip that the castle now belongs to Alan. Roxie stuck close by Mindy and was a real good friend.

India lashed out at Alan, but then decided to be nice to him, at Dorrie's suggestion. Simon tried to find out more about Alan and figured out that he (Simon) is being followed. Maeve and Fletcher argued. Kyle and Reva had fun developing the pictures she'd taken of Mindy. She made him agree to just be friends.

Alexandra received a package from San Rios, containing Alan's wallet and keys and a note saying he was presumed dead. Jackson went to see Beth. He denied sending the pictures of Mindy to Centerfold Magazine, but she didn't believe him and they argued. Claire woke up and talked but doesn't seem to have all of her memory.

Dinah admitted that she came to Springfield to look for her sister (Dorrie?). India started being charming to Alan. Beth and Phillip plotted to trap Jackson into admitting he sent the pictures of Mindy to Centerfold. Reva's article about Mindy came out in the Mirror, but they used the picture from the Centerfold and further ruined her reputation. Maeve tried to help Reva find out who owns the Mirror, but wasn't successful (It's Alan). HB decided to take over management of Camp Kayuga.

Beth tricked Jackson into admitting he sent the pictures to Centerfold and forced him to make a public apology. Everyone was at the Bauer's annual barbecue. India's father told her that he wants her to marry Alan. She was furious. Kyle made it official that the Samson Girl campaign is over.

India's father, mistaking Dorrie for a young India, told her where the Von Halkine gold is hidden, then fell seriously ill. Jessie worried about Simon, who never returned from trying to track down the guy who's been following him. Maeve suggested to Louie that they pretend that she adopts his orphaned nephew, Benjamin. She's determined that Kyle never know that Benjamin is his.

Rick talked with Claire, who doesn't remember anything about failing him on his exam. Kyle and Reva went by to see Claire and were shocked at how friendly she was. She has some front lobal damage which has changed her personality. India signed the papers to have her father committed. It's the only way to keep him off alcohol, which would kill him. Alan told India that he wants her to go back to Springfield. He said he can arrange it so that she doesn't have to go back to jail. Jessie talked Alex into helping her hunt for Simon, who has been kidnapped and is being held captive and kept drugged.

India agreed to go back to Springfield. She promised Dorrie that she'll take care of her and won't let anyone take her away or harm her. She told Dorrie that she loves her. Dorrie told her where the gold is and India plans to take it back to Springfield with her. Kyle and Billy have figured out that someone is buying up the power structures of Springfield. They know that Macauley has been the lawyer for several deals. Billy suspects it's Alexandra. Alexandra and Jessie traced calls from San Rios, which lead them to Macauley who gave orders to have Simon killed.

Simon escaped and found Jessie and told her what happened. She decided not to let him out of her sight. Ross asked Calla to marry him. Maeve took Benjamin home with her for the night. Sally stopped by and Maeve said she was keeping Louie's baby 'cause he had to be in surgery. Maeve agreed to let Fletcher investigate India.

India went to Maeve to get help taking care of her return. Maeve and India got HB to drop the airplane theft charges and HB got the judge to have India serve her time at Camp Kayuga and for Dorrie to be at the camp, in India's custody. India told Maeve that she loves Dorrie. Maeve told India that she's planning to adopt Ben. Reva showed off the pictures she took of Ben. Alexandra refused to believe Simon's story about being kidnapped by Macauley. Alan is in Springfield. He and Macauley discussed Alan's plans to become the head honcho in Springfield and ruin Alexandra.

Maeve told India the truth about Benjamin. India promised to help her any way she can. Ross and Calla got closer. Jessie snuck Simon into her room. Kyle and Billy are convinced that Alexandra is the one buying up the media in Springfield. Kyle went to Maeve and practically demanded that she sell him the journal. She refused.

Billy and Vanessa hassled about her job. India found out that Alan is back in town. Everyone made plans to go to the masked ball Alexandra is throwing. India and Dorrie showed up to do their stint at Camp Kayuga. India and Beth talked. India said she wants to put all the fighting behind them and she hopes Phillip will someday forgive her. Mindy went to Dr. Sedgewick to make sure she's in shape for getting pregnant. In order to get out of her duties at Camp Kayuga, she volunteered to be in a fertility study

Simon went back to Macauley's office and found out that the lights had been turned on at the Spaulding retreat. One of the campers stranded Billy and Roxie on an island. Rick asked Dinah to go to the ball with him. Maureen had to tell Claire that Claire had given custody of Michelle over to her and Ed. Claire is afraid to remember her past 'cause she doesn't want to remember being a terrible person.

Alan's servant found Simon and Jessie searching the retreat and he locked them up. Alan showed up at the masked ball, pretending to have laryngitis. Billy and Roxie snuggled to keep warm after they discovered they were stranded. Phillip was furious that India was at the ball. Kyle ordered Maeve to stay away from "Louie's baby". She told him that he can't control her.

Alan unmasked and Alexandra fainted. Phillip was amazed and rather indignant that Alan had never let him know that he wasn't dead. Alexandra freaked out when she discovered that her tape of Alan's confession has been stolen. Everybody talked about or worried about Alan's return. Kyle wants Reva to spy on Alan for him. Fletcher and Maeve worked to get the story of Alan's return to Springfield into the morning paper. India warned Dorrie that they have to be very careful of Alan. Alan went to the retreat and released Simon and Jessie and told Simon to stay away from Alexandra.

Phillip asked Beth to marry him and she said yes. Billy had to swim to shore to get off the island. India had the cornerstone shipped to the museum and Alan made arrangements for the uncrating. Beth started her new job at the museum. Alan found out that Alexandra had erased his confession tape with her own declaration of love. HB asked Lillian to have dinner with him.
